Our story
How a backpack, a chairlift, and a bad case of not wanting to drink gas-station coffee turned into Powder Hounds.
Powder Hounds started the way most good ideas in Park City start: with someone trying to solve their own problem. Before first chair, the mountain doesn't care if you're awake yet. So Mark started roasting small batches at altitude — good enough to actually want, strong enough to actually need — and skiing it out to people himself. A backpack full of fresh-roasted coffee, handed out on the chairlift, one cup at a time. No pitch, no marketing plan.
That's still how we build it.
The Powder Hounds Pro Team
Built for early starts and long days in the Wasatch — the coffee that goes out before the first chair does.
